Job description

Odyssey has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Acquisition Program Management Professional to provide highlevel program, technical, and analytical support across a diverse Air Force program portfolio at Eglin AFB, FL.

This role requires deep knowledge of DoD systems acquisition, requirements development, digital engineering practices, and rapid program execution. You will partner closely with Government stakeholders to develop strategic documentation, manage program activities, and support critical acquisition decisions.


Duties include, but not limited to: 

Requirements & Architecture Support

• Develop and maintain NetReady KPP documentation, Information Support Plans (ISP), Information Assurance Support Plans (IASP), Program Protection Plans (PPP), and DoDAF 2.2+ architecture views.

• Deliver training on DoDAF policy, processes, and tools.

• Provide rapid-turn support to enable shortnotice program direction and surge workload demands.

• Assist in developing Capability Based Assessments (CBA), Initial Capabilities Documents (ICD), Capability Development Documents (CDD), and Capability Production Documents (CPD).

• Maintain requirements traceability, generate reports, and support document updates.

• Use digital modeling tools (DOORS, SysML, and related platforms) to build and sustain a persistent requirements data model.

Program Management & Integration 

• Provide support in digital modeling, SysML/Cameo, Atlassian (Confluence/Jira), acquisition planning, configuration management, and enterprise integration.

• Support rapid response/delivery activities, source selection processes, program communication, schedule execution, risk management, contract support, and technical data management.

Acquisition Reporting & Analysis

• Develop, maintain, and update acquisition reports such as MAR, SAR, DAES, APB, and others required for ACAT I–III programs.

• Utilize DoD/OSD systems including DAMIR, EDA, PMRT, and CRIS.

• Prepare briefings, graphics, dashboards, and program documentation to support leadership decisions.

• Apply quantitative and qualitative analysis to assess program cost, schedule, and performance, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions.

Lifecycle & Documentation Support

• Support planning and execution of program strategies in accordance with DoD 5000 series guidance.

• Analyze system acquisition across development, production, and deployment phases.

• Participate in program management reviews, senior leadership briefings, and IMP/IMS assessments.

• Assist in source selection activities, including strategy development, documentation prep, and proposal analysis.

• Develop and manage risk plans, risk boards, and risk reporting.\ • Support Agile development processes with Government and contractor teams.

• Prepare business case analyses, milestone documentation, market research, AoA materials, integrated master schedules, and acquisition strategy briefings.

• Manage lifecycle data needs, CDRLs, DIDs, and associated data systems.\ • Create milestone decision briefings and other formal acquisition artifacts.

Minimum Required Qualifications

Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain an active Secret clearance

Education and experience: Bachelor’s degree and 25 years of relevant experience, OR Master's degree and 15 years of relevant experience

Certifications: PMP

Technical Skills

  • DoDAF 2.2 (or later) products; NR-KPP / ISP / IASP / PPP

  • JCIDS support; CBA / ICD / CDD / CPD development

  • Requirements traceability; DOORS / SysML (or equivalent)

  • FAR / DoD 5000.2 acquisition program support

  • RFP development (SRD / SOO / SOW / CDRL) and source selection support

  • Configuration baseline support (MIL-HDBK-67 / ANSI/EIA-649)

  • Risk management, program schedule execution support, and financial analyses

  • Relevant degree in Management or Business (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong knowledge of DoDI 5000.02, DoDI 5000.75, AFI 63101, AFI 63138, AFPAM 63128, and related acquisition guidance.
  • Experience supporting ACAT program offices and Government program managers.
  • Proficiency with DoD acquisition systems (DAMIR, EDA, PMRT, CRIS).
  • Demonstrated skill in requirements development, documentation, and DoDAF/SysML modeling.
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly—both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience developing reports, dashboards, and program documentation for senior decision makers

Interpersonal Skills

  • Ability to support short-notice requirements and accelerated delivery timelines

  • Ability to coordinate across functional disciplines and develop briefings/decision support information
