Job description

Description:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Production Manager to oversee daily production and packaging operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring production efficiency, food safety compliance, product quality, and team leadership while meeting operational goals and delivery timelines. This position is for a 2nd Shift Production Manager, 3 PM- 11 PM.

  • Oversee all production and packaging operations, including labeling, lot traceability, code date verification, and CCP monitoring
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, GMPs, OSHA regulations, and food safety requirements
  • Coordinate production schedules and staffing to meet production demands and deadlines
  • Monitor productivity, identify process improvements, and implement efficiency initiatives
  • Supervise, train, coach, and develop production staff
  • Promote and maintain a safe work environment and ensure proper equipment usage
  • Conduct team meetings and communicate production expectations clearly
  • Maintain high standards for quality, sanitation, and workplace organization
  • Address employee performance concerns through coaching and disciplinary action when necessary


Requirements:
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing or production management required
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English required
