About the Role:

SailPoint IT is building a world class IT product management team and continues to look for top-notch IT product managers to expand the team. We are looking for an exceptional leader for introducing new products that support business functions in IT. In addition to your thought leadership and creativity, you will partner closely with IT Software Engineers, Product Managers, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Revenue, Sales/Partner Operations, and Global Customer Support to ensure new features and products are robust and the experience for our partners and internal stakeholders is seamless. Having a software engineering background and experience supporting the channels or partner functions is critical for success in this challenging and rewarding role.

Your Impact:

  • Define vision and strategy for partner-facing products that support indirect sales motions.

  • Partner with Channels, support & Services, GTM, Legal, HR, Finance ,Product Management and engineering teams to develop products aligned with the product vision.

  • Drive products from ideation to launch

  • Responsible for defining and driving the business process, solution and writing of user stories which will translate into products

  • Responsible for IT product development and building excellent partnerships with various leaders within the company

  • Partner with business, product management and engineering to define requirements, develop functional specifications, and estimate delivery timelines

  • Manage all aspects of the product life cycle including end-user feedback, requirements and issues.

  • Analyze and evaluate product performance and make recommendations

  • Manage business expectations, be proactive in planning for new offerings, and build excellent partnerships with various leaders within the company

  • AI first approach, keeping productivity in mind while designing Products/solutions.

Qualifications Required Qualification:

  • Rapid Prototyping: Lead the end-to-end development of functional prototypes and new features using AI-native orchestration tools like Lovable, Cursor, and v0. You will be responsible for turning "vibes" (high-level ideas and design language) into live, interactive products.

  • Iterative "Vibe Coding": Efficiently navigate the loop of prompting, testing, and refining. You'll use natural language to direct AI in building complex UI components and backend logic, ensuring the output aligns with our product vision and technical standards

  • Strong 10-12+ Yrs of experience working as a Product Manager in high tech company

  • Extensive experience working with partners and distributors is a must

  • Experience driving innovate partner solutions using AI

  • Experience creating mockups using lovable or similar tools

  • Knowledge and experience with Salesforce CRM, CPQ and Communities or equivalent is a must.

  • Strong desire to take ownership of a set of new products and design capabilities to support indirect motion

  • Drive to design something new, innovative, and disruptive

  • Experience with developing API's for partners or customers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in developing solutions/products that integrate with different cloud service providers is a plus

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or an equivalent combination of skills, training, and experience - Master's degree preferred

  • Software development background is a plus

Goal: Understand SailPoint's culture, the IT team's charter, and the technical ecosystem.

  • Onboarding: Complete HR onboarding and establish access to critical business systems.
  • Culture & Mission: Internalize SailPoint's mission, vision, and values; understand the Digital Transformation & Strategy team's objectives.
  • Stakeholder Mapping: Meet with the IT Product Management team and key IT stakeholders to define partnership styles and understand their specific needs.
  • Product Knowledge: Complete a comprehensive review of SailPoint's product suite and the current IT project roadmap and AI tools and technologies.
  • Knowledge Transfer : Initiate deep-dive sessions with team to capture historical context and current product nuances.

60-Day Expectations: Ownership & Execution

Goal: Transition from shadowing to active participation and ownership of specific domains

  • Domain Ownership : Assume primary responsibility for the AI product areas.
  • Operational Mastery :Transition from shadowing to actively facilitating project meetings and utilizing IT tools/technologies independently.
  • Product Roadmap : Actively start working with business teams to map the process gaps with AI Technology that can be leveraged to meet business needs, along with ROI monitoring.
