Job description

Throughout the Gardner family’s ownership of Superior Trim, we have made, and continue to make, significant investments to ensure that Superior Trim has all of the appropriate technologies in-house and available to produce cost-competitive, high-quality interior and exterior trim products for medium/heavy duty trucks and other commercial vehicles that our customers expect.

Superior Trim Springfield is looking for an energetic team player to fill a need for an operational leader for our production operations.  A successful candidate will have experience creating and implementing production process improvements, meeting challenging deadlines, and leading production teams to successful outcomes.  

Job duties to include (but not limited to):

  • Lead production activities throughout the plant.
  • Ensure production schedules are adhered to and completed.
  • Provide guidance and support to production employees
  • Support engineering projects, where appropriate
  • Communicate material amounts, defects, and other issues to the materials manager
  • Generation and championing implementation of continuous Improvement Ideas on existing product lines
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements:

  • 5 or more years of experience in production management 
  • Experience with creating and executing production schedules
  • Experience identifying and solving production issues/bottlenecks
  • Experience working with and leading multifunctional teams
