Job description

Throughout the Gardner familyโ€™s ownership of Superior Trim, we have made, and continue to make, significant investments to ensure that Superior Trim has all of the appropriate technologies in-house and available to produce cost-competitive, high-quality interior and exterior trim products for medium/heavy duty trucks and other commercial vehicles that our customers expect.

Superior Trim Springfield is looking for an energetic team player to fill a need for an operational leader for our production operations.ย  A successful candidate will have experience creating and implementing production process improvements, meeting challenging deadlines, and leading production teams to successful outcomes.ย ย 

Job duties to include (but not limited to):

  • Lead production activities throughout the plant.
  • Ensure production schedules are adhered to and completed.
  • Provide guidance and support to production employees
  • Support engineering projects, where appropriate
  • Communicate material amounts, defects, and other issues to the materials manager
  • Generation and championing implementation of continuous Improvement Ideas on existing product lines
  • Other duties as assigned.
