Job Summary
We are seeking a Director of Product Management to own the vision, strategy, roadmap, commercialization, and lifecycle management of Managed Private Cloud services powered by Red Hat OpenShift. This executive-level product leader will build new solutions and drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, operations, partner ecosystems, sales, finance, marketing, and executive stakeholders to build and scale differentiated managed Kubernetes, private cloud, AI-ready, and hybrid cloud offerings.
Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Portfolio Leadership
  • Define and execute the multi-year product strategy across Virtualization, Containerization, and AI services leveraging OpenShift, ensuring common platform capabilities, operational consistency, and business alignment
  • Own business outcomes including growth, adoption, profitability, customer satisfaction, and market differentiation
  • Drive prioritization across platform capabilities including private clusters, managed Kubernetes, platform operations, security, observability, lifecycle management, AI infrastructure, and VM-based services
  • Drive investment prioritization, pricing strategy, packaging, partner engagement, and go-to-market execution across all MPC OpenShift offerings
  • Establish success metrics for service adoption, customer satisfaction, revenue growth, platform utilization, and operational efficiency

Executive Partnership & Governance
  • Establish strategic partnerships with technology providers and ecosystem participants
  • Define partnership operating models, executive escalation paths, governance mechanisms, and success metrics
  • Lead executive reviews and resolve competing priorities across internal and external stakeholders
  • Partner with product marketing to build robust messaging plan

Go-to-Market & Commercialization
  • Develop go-to-market strategy, launch plans, customer segmentation, and partner motions
  • Identify and cultivate strategic alliances with global systems integrators, consulting organizations, channel partners, and service providers
  • Lead pilot, soft-launch, and general availability programs to validate offerings and accelerate market adoption
  • Drive pricing strategy, commercial models, business cases, and investment decisions

Customer & Market Leadership
  • Translate customer needs into differentiated product capabilities and roadmap priorities
  • Maintain direct engagement with strategic customers and executive sponsors
  • Assess market trends across cloud, Kubernetes, AI, edge computing, and managed services

Technical Product Leadership
  • Partner with engineering to deliver secure, scalable, enterprise-grade OpenShift solutions
  • Drive integration requirements for identity, access control, authorization frameworks, platform services, networking, and infrastructure automation
  • Champion Containerization, Kubernetes Orchestration, AI ready architectures, and emerging cloud-native technologies

Program Execution
  • Lead cross-functional planning and execution from discovery through launch and lifecycle management
  • Oversee certification, compliance, partner program requirements, and contractual deliverables
  • Coordinate product, engineering, operations, marketing, and partner teams to ensure predictable execution
  • Proven ability to build roadmaps and manage backlog

Qualifications
Required
  • 7+ years in product management with significant leadership responsibility
  • Deep expertise in Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, cloud-native platforms, and managed services
  • Experience leading strategic partnerships, business planning, GTM programs, and executive stakeholder management
  • Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, hybrid cloud, private cloud, security, networking, and platform operations
  • Proven ability to influence senior executives and lead large cross-functional initiatives

Preferred
  • Experience with AI infrastructure, GPU platforms, cloud service provider ecosystems, and partner programs
  • Background in managed private cloud, platform-as-a-service, or infrastructure services
  • MBA or advanced technical degree preferred

Strategic Outcomes and Leadership Expectations
  • Define and enforce non-negotiable partnership expectations, governance models, and executive sponsorship structures
  • Lead partner ecosystem and GTM prioritization efforts for joint solutions and managed cloud offerings
  • Drive customer demand validation, product prioritization, and phased launch strategies
  • Own product investment decisions including pricing, packaging, business cases, and commercialization models
  • Guide co-design initiatives with strategic technology partners spanning authorization, infrastructure integration, AI platforms, and cloud-native services
  • Oversee certification readiness, incentive programs, partner agreements, and joint marketing commitments

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
