We are now looking for Production Machine Operators for our very promising site of Alleima Precision Tube, based at Scottdale PA, USA.
We are a plant specialized in producing high precision stainless and nickel alloy tube products to various high demanding industries including aerospace, transportation, nuclear and petrochemical.
Your Role
After on the job training, you will be responsible for setting up and operating machinery and material handling equipment on the production floor. Machinery used will be; overhead cranes, small and large swagers, and cutting machinery. Your duties will also include measuring and material transportation.
What we expect from you to is:
  • Under general direction, responsible for the setup, calibration, and operation of machines used in production processes.
  • Follows established procedures for operating various conventional and/or specialized manufacturing processes (drawing, heat treatment, cutting, straightening etc etc ).
  • Selects and measures raw materials and parts to specifications to prepare for production processing.
  • Raise and report issues related to the organization's production, machinery, processing and/or packaging operations.
  • Inspects machining operations and finished product against specified tolerances using precision measuring tools.
  • Maintain and clean your workstation,
  • Safety and housekeeping (5S) requirements
  • Expected results : Quality of the tubes; Productivity with number of parts produced per hour; Compliance with production procedures and instructions and Quality control of parts and identification of defects.
