As our innovative business grows rapidly, we are seeking a full-timeMachine Operator for ourEdmontonlocation. The Machine Operator operates various production, processing, and packaging machines.

Position:Full-Time, Permanent

Schedule:Monday to Friday

Available Shifts: 5:00am-1:30pm OR 8:00am-4:30pm


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operates specific production machines safely and efficiently.
  • Works with production supervisors and managers to schedule production on specified equipment.
  • Follows company-standardized pack specifications along with any customer-specified deviations, as communicated through special instructions via work orders/cut tickets.
  • Follows the company's detailed product specifications.
  • Perform Quality Control checks and communicate with supervisors and managers any defects.
  • Communicates with production supervisors and managers regarding any maintenance concerns and PM scheduling.
  • Offers assistance to other team members.
  • A machine operator must follow and maintain all Quality Assurance, HACCP, SQF requirements, and Occupational Health & Safety regulations and ensure all employees in their department follow them.
  • Perform any other duties as required.


Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • Previous manufacturing experience in a food processing facility
  • Basic machine operational knowledge (turning machines on/off, changing programs, and re-tooling basics)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Must be able to work on weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work in a refrigerated environment
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to work independently or within a team environment
  • Must adhere to all safety regulations and procedures
  • Follows the company's Quality Control procedures
