Grover Precision is seeking a Machine Operator I to join its manufacturing team in Oxford, Maine.
Job Summary
The Machine Operator I role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to build a career in manufacturing. This position operates production equipment, supports manufacturing processes, performs quality checks, and helps ensure products are produced safely and efficiently.

  • First Shift, Monday-Friday (5:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. start)

Qualifications:

Responsibilities and Scope:
  • Safely operate at least one production machine or manufacturing cell independently
  • Perform production support activities including material cutting, facing, straightening, drilling, polishing, bore blasting, and inventory handling
  • Track machine time and production activity using the kiosk clocking system
  • Obtain required quality inspections and sign-offs throughout the manufacturing process
  • Monitor production processes and immediately report quality, material, or equipment concerns
  • Ensure assigned jobs are completed within established production standards and timelines
  • Coordinate with supervisors, inspectors, and coworkers to maintain efficient workflow between departments
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
