Ashland, ME - Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
Schedule: Full-time/Nights; 5:00 PM โ€“ 5:00 AM. Four days per week, Monday through Friday with rotating day off.
Payrate: $22.37/hr. + $2.00/hr. night shift differential. Attendance bonuses available.

Now seeking dependable Machine Operators to join a well-established sawmill operation in Ashland. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and want to build skills in an industrial production environment. Benefits are available after temp-to-hire period.
The Machine Operator plays an essential role by handling the production of high-quality lumber products. This position involves operating and monitoring machinery, inspecting materials for quality, assisting with basic maintenance, and maintaining a safe and efficient workflow. Ideal candidate will have good communication skills, strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced industrial setting.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate production machinery, such as saws, conveyors, and planers.
  • Load/unload raw materials and finished products from equipment or work areas.
  • Inspect finished lumber to ensure that products conform to quality standards.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized.
  • Assist with routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company procedures as directed by site supervisor.
  • Notify management of any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns in a timely manner.
  • Perform other relevant duties as requested by site supervisors.

Job Requirements:
