Job description

Production Operator – Yuma Distribution Center
Hours: Monday through Friday 7:00am to 3:00pm
Location: Yuma, Arizona
Summary: Production personnel will perform assembly operations for the mass production of finished sterilized medical kits such catheters for dialysis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to controlled environment cleaning and gowning procedures.
  • Responsible for accurately counting, prepping, assembling, inspecting, and/or sealing products.
  • Operate printing equipment to print labels.
  • Print, compare, and co-check label information for accuracy.
  • Verify material labels against the work order when staging product.
  • Affix labels to products and boxes.
  • Operate machines such as surgical Atlas and Packworld Impulse sealer, impulse sealer for poly bags, and de-ionizing air gun.
  • Prep, assemble, seal, and inspect surgical trays, pouches, and all components used during the process.
  • Package finished surgical trays and/or mated kits in boxes.
  • Cross train to perform different processes as necessary.
  • Maintain clean workstations by adhering to all procedures and completing the required documentation.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
  • Ability to speak, read and comprehend simple instructions in English.
  • Data entry and computer skills
  • Knowledge of basic math and computer skills including Excel, MSOffice, and Outlook.
  • Close attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic math and organization skills
  • Pallet Jack experience preferred, but we’ll train.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with or standing for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to work in a controlled cleanroom environment that involves special gowning and hygiene requirements.
  • Strong work ethic with ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • 1 to 3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
