Production Machine Operator – Wood Manufacturing

Full-Time | 4-Day Work Week | Three-Day Weekends
Nunica, MI | Versatile

Versatile is looking for dependable, hands-on Production Machine Operators to join our growing manufacturing team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with machines, building things, and working with their hands. Our production team operates a variety of modern woodworking equipment, including CNC routers, edge banders, panel saws, sanders, and other automated manufacturing machinery.

You do not need experience on every machine. If you have experience operating one type of production or woodworking equipment and are mechanically inclined, we can train you on the rest.

What You’ll Do

Depending on your experience and training, you may operate a variety of woodworking and manufacturing equipment, including:

  • CNC routers
  • Edge banders
  • Panel saws
  • Sanders
  • Boring and drilling equipment
  • Other automated and production machinery

Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

  • Set up and operate production machinery
  • Load materials and monitor machines during production
  • Read work orders, prints, measurements, and production information
  • Inspect parts for quality and accuracy
  • Make basic machine adjustments as needed
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance
  • Identify problems and communicate issues to your team
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Work with your team to keep production moving efficiently
