About the Role

Are you an experienced Operations Process Specialist professional ready to take your career to the next level with a growing, fast-moving company? We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Operations Process Specialist with a strong track record in capturing operational workflows and developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

In this role, you will partner closely with departments across the organization to observe, analyze, and document current-state processes while identifying opportunities for standardization, efficiency, and scalability. You will play a critical role in ensuring operational consistency by creating clear, accessible, and well-structured documentation that supports training, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

POSITION ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Partner with department leaders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to observe workflows and gather detailed process requirements.
  • Document end-to-end operational processes, including workflows, decision trees, job aids, templates, and SOPs.
  • Analyze current-state processes to identify gaps, redundancies, risks, and opportunities for standardization and optimization.
  • Translate complex operational and technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation.
  • Maintain version control and governance of all process documentation to ensure accuracy and alignment with system, regulatory, and organizational changes.
  • Organize and maintain a centralized repository of SOPs and knowledge artefacts to ensure accessibility across teams.
  • Support Quality Assurance initiatives by ensuring documented processes reflect expected operational standards.
  • Collaborate with Training, QA, Systems, and Operations teams to ensure documentation aligns with training materials and performance expectations.
  • Assist in the development of process maps, flowcharts, and visual documentation using tools such as Visio or similar platforms.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and support change management efforts by updating documentation as workflows evolve.
  • Provide clarification and walkthroughs of documented processes when needed to support operational adoption.

Requirements

  • Prior experience documenting operational workflows, SOP writing, or business process analysis
  • Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management experience strongly preferred
  • Strong editing, proofreading, and technical writing skills
  • Ability to gather and synthesize information from multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent research, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously
  • Experience with process mapping tools such as Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, or similar
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new systems and workflows
  • Encouraging team presence with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Willingness to submit to drug and background screenings

Benefits

  • 21 paid days off (15 days of PTO, which increases with tenure, plus 6 holidays).
  • Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) options.
  • Medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, and life insurance.
  • Generous 401(k) with up to 6% employer match.
