ArsenalBio, a privately held, clinical-stage programmable cell therapy company engineering advanced CAR T therapies for solid tumors, is seeking a talented Cell Therapy Specialist II to work onsite based in our Hayward/UCSF and San Francisco office. ArsenalBio's mission and purpose is very clear: defeat cancer. With our programmable and computationally driven approach, our team is engineering medicines with the goal to attack cancer's inherent multifaceted nature and overcome the challenges of addressing solid tumors with cell therapy. Driven by a collective of diverse experts across multi-scientific disciplines as well as clinical and manufacturing expertise, we are united in our purpose to develop the optimal medicines for improving patients' lives. This means you'll have the opportunity to work with the best talent in the field of cell therapy, and be part of ONE TEAM advancing therapies for patients who need it most. ArsenalBio is seeking a talented and motivated Cell Therapy Specialist to join the ArsenalBio Technical Operations team supporting cell therapy manufacturing activities. This Specialist will work closely with Manufacturing, Process Development, Quality and other support roles. The position will report into the Director of Manufacturing in supporting day to day manufacturing processes. The individual will also interact cross-functionally across the organization to enable the success of ArsenalBio. This position requires a Tuesday to Saturday schedule and may require on-call off hours beyond that to support business needs.

What You'll Do
  • Perform all tasks associated with the GMP manufacturing of cellular products following batch records, tech transfer protocols, validation protocols and SOPs
  • Assist in set-up, testing, and qualification of manufacturing areas and equipment/fixtures.
  • Work with the Manufacturing team to execute GMP runs in close collaboration with Process Development, MSAT and Quality
  • Demonstrates excellent aseptic/sterile techniques
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation following GMP principles, including following production batch records, SOPs and other documentation
  • Perform equipment and process qualification activities Perform in-process product testing in accordance with standard procedures
Who You Are
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant scientific field. 2+ years of experience in biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry in a manufacturing role
  • Experience in clinical scale cell processing (such as Miltenyi CliniMACS/Prodigy and equivalent platforms) desired
  • Experience in applying techniques learned from prior Cell Therapy experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships
  • Ability to quickly learn new skills and knowledge on the job, demonstrate productivity, and deliver high-quality results
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Ability to multitask as needed in a start-up environment
