Job description

We are seeking a highly organized Manufacturing Process Specialist to support automotive tooling programs and work directly with suppliers to keep projects on schedule and aligned with Company standards.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of experience who enjoys working with data, suppliers, and manufacturing processes.


Responsibilities:

  • Track tooling design, die construction, supplier progress, and program timing.
  • Review tooling processes, simulations, and die components.
  • Monitor supplier commitments and program milestones.
  • Maintain and analyze large tooling and supplier tracking files.
  • Create reports, charts, and graphs for program reporting.
  • Attend supplier meetings and help resolve timing and process issues.
  • Ensure tooling activities meet Company's standards.


Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree (Manufacturing, Engineering, or Business preferred)
  • 2-4 years of professional experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are a MUST
  • Ability to manage, sort, analyze, and create complex Excel spreadsheets, tables, charts, and graphs
  • Strong Word and PowerPoint skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of automotive tooling/die-making processes preferred.


Day Shift 6 am- 2:30 pm, on-site.

Less than 15% travel to various plant locations.
