Job Title: Process Automation Engineer
Location: North Carolina (Onsite Only)

Job Summary:
Seeking a Process Automation Engineer to support commissioning, integration, and startup of automated inspection systems in an aseptic pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, and startup activities
  • Troubleshoot PLC, HMI/SCADA, vision systems, and equipment integrations
  • Coordinate with OEMs and project teams
  • Ensure GMP, validation, and data integrity compliance
  • Support MES, SCADA, and IT/OT system integration

Required Skills:

  • Experience with pharmaceutical inspection equipment
  • PLC & SCADA/HMI systems (Siemens preferred)
  • GMP manufacturing environment experience
  • FAT to commissioning lifecycle experience
  • Ability to work onsite startup schedules

Technical Skills:

  • Siemens TIA Portal, WinCC Unified
  • Siemens S7 PLCs
  • PAS-X MES
  • AVEVA PI Historian
  • ThinManager
  • Octoplant / VersionDog

Preferred:

  • Körber inspection systems experience
  • MES integration & industrial networking knowledge
