The Role
As a Senior Engineer, Process Automation at Moderna, you will play a crucial part in our manufacturing operations, supporting the operation of our cutting-edge GxP manufacturing systems. These systems include, but are not limited to, Aveva System Platform, Rockell Automation ControlLogix, DeltaV, Syncade, Apprentice Tempo, and Aveva Pi Historian. You will be at the forefront of our mission to deliver mRNA therapies to patients worldwide and using your expertise in automation to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. Here's What You'll Do
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
  • Troubleshooting complex issues within our GxP Process Automation Systems, i.e. DeltaV or Allen-Bradley programmable logic controllers.
  • Maintaining and sustaining a culture of compliance both in how we design solutions and in how we run and maintain operations.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to junior level engineers.

Here's What You'll Need (Minimum Qualifications)
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technology discipline.
  • 5-10 years working with process automation systems.
  • Clear communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in an understandable manner to various stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to occasionally cover off-hours, holidays, and weekends as necessary.

The salary range for this role is $145,900.00 - $234,200.00. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An individual's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, and business or organizational needs.The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, other incentive compensation, or equity award, subject to company plan eligibility criteria and individual performance.
