Full Time | Direct Hire
(Hybrid 1-Day remote after 45-day training)
Salary $100k+, DOE
Work Schedule: 8:30a.m. to 5:00p.m. or 9:00a.m. to 5:30p.m

Job Summary of the Trust & Estates Legal Assistant position
Integr8staff seeks an experienced Trust & Estates Legal Assistant for a highly-regarded and continually growing law firm in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will support the trust & estates, tax planning probate and trust administration practice.
Responsibilities of the Trust & Estates Legal Assistant position
Assist with preparation of legal documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning legal documents.
High volume scheduling duties, calendar meetings on Outlook, schedule appointments in-person and on Zoom.
Prepare quarterly tax payments on multiple trust accounts.
Prepare property tax payments and insurance renewals for trust accounts.
Work with CPAs and bookkeepers on client accounts.
Heavy interaction with bank representatives on client trust accounts.
Prepare and record deeds, prepare binders, and other related documents.
Print, scan, proofread, and edit legal documents with a high level of accuracy.
Maintain organized files and track case progress efficiently.
Manage Excel spreadsheets for several trust account expenses.
Manage client communications and draft professional correspondence.
Collaborate with attorneys, team members while able to work independently.
Requirements of the Trust & Estates Legal Assistant position
Minimum of 5 yrs. of trust & estates experience.
Experience with Estate Planning, Trust Administration, and Probate
Excellent administrative, follow-up, initiative, and organizational skills are required.
e-Filing and/or probate litigation and court filing experience is a plus.
Calendaring using CompuLaw, experience with iManage
Knowledge of preparing tables of contents and authorities.
Excellent proofreading and writing skills, and great attention to detail
Excellent typing, formatting, and computer software skills needed
Knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Adobe Pro and iManage or similar document management system
Knowledge of CompuLaw, Best Authority, Kofax, and CCC Macros is a plus
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Notary Commission is a plus and encouraged
