The position entails answering legal questions and offering legal advice over the telephone in our Hauppauge, NY office.Responsibilities:Within the Legal Counsel Team manage incoming callsIdentify and assess customer's legal issue and document our proprietary softwareReview documents on behalf of clientsPerform administrative and management functions related to the practice of lawGo the extra mile to engage customers and build a telephone relationship Job Requirements:Juris Doctor Degree plus NY state bar admission prior to 2021.Preferred experience in EstatesExcellent research, writing and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and problem solving skillsStrong customer service and personal service orientationAbility to build rapport with clients and work in a collaborative atmosphereAbility to ask pertinent questions, actively listen to answers and synthesize information in order to formulate advice based on sound judgement and strong knowledge of the law and legal precedenceAbility to keep client and Firm matters confidentialJob DescriptionWe are looking for a fulltime attorney to offer legal advice to individuals over the telephone.
