Job Description:
As a Legal Assistant at Job Duck, you will play a vital role in supporting legal operations within a probate-focused practice. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with legal documents, managing court-related processes, and maintaining clear communication with clients and internal teams. You will contribute daily by keeping cases organized, filings accurate, and schedules running smoothly. Success in this role comes from being detail-oriented, proactive, and open to learning probate law concepts in a hands-on environment. • Compensation Range 1150 to 1220
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Manage and monitor court filing systems
  • Draft and format legal documents accurately
  • Communicate with clients in a professional and timely manner
  • Proofread legal documents for accuracy and consistency
  • Support ongoing case management activities
  • Prepare and write professional correspondence
  • Schedule hearings and maintain legal calendars
  • E file documents within court systems

Requirements:
Full time position aligned with Eastern Standard Time
• Work schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM EST
• Role supports legal matters related to Probate Law
• Requires ability to learn and apply probate law concepts
• Expected call volume is moderate with approximately 6 to 15 calls per day
• Location aligned with Florida based operations
