Job Description
  • Visually check quality of print against approved sample (check if light or dark, check if off-center, check if faded or missing print, check molding parts for shorts, flash, strings, grease, etc.)
  • Load product into lid and cup printers
  • Perform tape test
  • Sort through start-up
  • Pack parts and verify count is correct
  • Stir and add ink
  • Clean blankets and plates
  • Start/stop printers
  • Clean color heads, rollers and fountains
  • Set up color heads for next print run
  • Assist printing technicians with plate changes
  • Check plates, inks, set-up and color standard against printer set up sheet
  • Clear unload and in-feed jams
  • Break printer inspector/packer for change over
  • Application of printed label to box
  • Maintain appropriate speed assigned each press
  • Help material handlers as needed
  • Follow all GMPs
  • Make sure all bags are completely inside box.
  • Any other duties assigned by supervisor or department manager.
  • MUST PASS COLOR AND MECHANICAL TEST
