Large Format Print Machine Operator

Location: Mountainside, NJ
Position Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Large Format Print Machine Operator for a busy commercial printing and graphics operation in Mountainside, NJ.

The Large Format Print Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining large-format digital printing equipment used to produce high-quality graphics and printed materials.


This is a hands-on production position ideal for someone with experience in large format printing, digital printing, signage, graphics production, print finishing, or commercial print manufacturing.

Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are preferred, but bilingual ability is not required.


Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate large-format digital printing equipment.
  • Review job tickets, work orders, artwork specifications, dimensions, quantities, and production requirements before beginning each job.
  • Load appropriate media and materials into printing equipment.
  • Monitor print jobs throughout production to ensure consistent quality.
  • Make machine adjustments as necessary to maintain proper print quality, registration, alignment, and output.
  • Perform visual quality inspections of completed products.
  • Identify printing defects, color inconsistencies, material issues, or equipment problems.
  • Ensure completed jobs meet customer specifications and internal quality standards.
  • Accurately measure printed materials and verify dimensions.
  • Change rolls, inks, substrates, and other materials as required.
  • Perform routine machine setup, cleaning, and basic preventative maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment and production issues.
