Zing is hiring an experienced Press Brake Machine Operator for a growing manufacturing facility in Oakland, NJ. If you have experience operating Press Brake equipment, reading blueprints, and producing quality parts in a machine shop environment, we'd like to hear from you!
What You'll Do
  • Set up and operate Press Brake machinery according to work orders and engineering drawings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Inspect finished parts using calipers, protractors, and other precision measuring tools.
  • Make machine adjustments to ensure parts meet quality specifications.
  • Troubleshoot machine and program issues as needed.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Accurately report completed work orders and inventory in Oracle.
  • Maintain tooling and keep a clean, organized work area.
  • Follow all company safety procedures.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2 years of Press Brake experience in a machine shop environment.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Experience using calipers, protractors, and other measuring instruments.
  • Forklift Certification required.
  • Ability to stand for an entire shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be available to work occasional overtime and Saturdays.
