Digital Press Operator / Press Operator – Rochester, NY
Pay: $21.00–$25.00/hr + $0.50/hr B-Shift Differential

A Rochester-area print manufacturing facility is looking for Digital Press Operator / Press Operator to operate advanced digital printing equipment and support high-quality production. This is a great opportunity for an experienced press operator or a mechanically skilled manufacturing professional looking to grow within the print industry.
Schedule Options:
  • A Shift: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
  • A Shift: Sunday–Thursday | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
 
  • B Shift: Sunday–Thursday | 2:00 PM–10:30 PM
  • B Shift: Monday–Friday | 2:00 PM–10:30 PM
  • B Shift: $0.50/hr shift differential
Mandatory Overtime including weekends during peak production periods 
What You'll Do
  • Set up and operate digital printing presses
  • Monitor print quality, color, registration, and alignment
  • Adjust machine settings and materials as needed
  • Perform routine cleaning, inspections, and minor troubleshooting
  • Monitor production output and identify quality issues
  • Follow job specifications, production schedules, and safety procedures
  • Maintain accurate production and equipment records
  • Keep equipment and work areas clean and organized
  • Cross-train on additional equipment and processes
What We're Looking For
  • 4+ years of manufacturing/production experience preferred
  • Digital press or commercial printing experience strongly preferred
  • Experience operating or troubleshooting complex production equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality
  • Comfortable working with computers and machine interfaces
  • Ability to read work instructions, manuals, or technical information
  • Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Print experience is ideal, but we will also consider candidates with strong mechanical/equipment experience and exposure to the printing industry
