Job description

We are hiring for a Printing Machine Operator on behalf of our client, a newly established packaging manufacturing and distribution company. This full-time position offers a great entry point into industrial printing and production.

Location: Lorton, VA

Compensation: $18.00-$23.00/hr DOE

Schedule: Mon-Fri,8 hours a day flexible shift. 

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate specialized production printing machines to customize items according to customer designs and branding requests.
  • Prepare and align customer logos, artwork, and printing specifications prior to production runs.
  • Monitor machine performance continuously to ensure accurate, high-quality output.
  • Learn printing machine functions, controls, and basic troubleshooting procedures.
  • Perform routine machine adjustments and basic maintenance when needed.
  • Conduct quality control checks on finished products to inspect for color accuracy and print defects.
  • Maintain efficient workflow speeds to hit production goals and meet delivery deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly work area and follow all company safety protocols.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with broader warehouse and production staff to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

  • Ability to learn and operate industrial printing machinery with a strong technical or mechanical aptitude.
