Job description

Position Overview:
The Pricing Administrator is responsible for supporting and executing price and rebate management process at Glacier Supply to support our expansion into the Oregon Market. This role requires close collaboration with the Sales team, including Territory Managers, Branch Managers, and the Director of Sales. The Pricing Administrator ensures that pricing data, vendor costs, and rebate programs are accurately maintained in the ERP system to drive profitability and ensure that sales data is correctly recorded. Additionally, the Pricing Administrator serves as the primary point of contact for managing vendor rebate programs, ensuring that all rebate records are up-to-date, rebate requests are submitted to vendors in a timely manner, and all rebates are accurately reconciled.
Key Responsibilities:
Price & Rebate Management:
  • Set up and configure pricing structures in the ERP system in alignment with company service and profitability goals
  • Execute customer-specific pricing based on feedback and requirements from the Sales team, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing.

Data Accuracy & Maintenance:
  • Ensure all pricing data, vendor costs, and related records in the ERP system are accurate, current, and reflect the latest changes or agreements.
  • Conduct routine data audits to identify and resolve discrepancies in pricing and vendor costs, ensuring all records are up to date.

Vendor Rebate Program Administration:
  • Manage the complete process for all vendor rebate programs, specifically those paid to Glacier Supply by vendors after a sale is made to the customer, ensuring timely and accurate processing from initiation to completion.
  • Maintain detailed, well-organized, and clearly communicated records for all rebate programs, ensuring compliance with program terms and facilitating clear communication with internal teams and vendors.
  • Submit rebate requests to vendors on time and track the status of submissions to ensure all rebates are processed in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile rebate amounts received from vendors with records to ensure all rebates are accurately applied and accounted for.
  • Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to rebate payments or processing.

Reporting and Analysis:
  • Generate and analyze reports related to pricing, rebates, and cost management, ensuring visibility and accuracy of all relevant data.
  • Provide regular updates to the Director of Operations, Director of Finance, and other key stakeholders regarding rebate statuses, pricing changes, and vendor cost data.

Cross-Department Collaboration:
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales team to ensure pricing strategies are accurately applied to customer quotations, ensuring alignment with company policies and customer expectations.
  • Support the Director of Operations and other teams in tracking price changes, forecasting rebates, and evaluating vendor performance to optimize pricing strategies and rebate opportunities.

Qualifications:
Education:
  • Associate's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications or training in ERP systems, pricing management, or financial analysis are a plus.

Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in pricing administration, data management, or a related role, ideally within the HVAC or wholesale distribution industry.
  • Strong proficiency with ERP systems and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong ability to maintain accuracy in data and records.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies, optimize pricing, and track rebate performance.

Salary Description
$45,000 to $65,000 per year; depending on exper.
