Job description

Sincerus Global Solutions, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Pricing Analyst to support the development of competitive, compliant, and strategically aligned pricing for government and commercial opportunities. In this role, the Pricing Analyst will collaborate closely with business development, proposal, finance, and operational teams to build accurate cost models, analyze financial data, and ensure pricing strategies align with company objectives and customer requirements. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of government contracting pricing practices, and the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights that support winning proposals and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities to Include:

  • Partner with Proposal and Program Teams to review RFPs/RFQs, develop cost and pricing models, and establish appropriate labor categories and rates.
  • Conduct detailed analyses of customer requirements, market trends, and competitive landscapes to inform cost estimates, pricing strategies, and proposal positioning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Development, Finance, Product Management, Technical SMEs, and Contracts to develop pricing strategies aligned with business objectives and solicitation requirements.
  • Lead or participate in proposal kick-off and status meetings, identifying cost volume activities and coordinating assignments with internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and document supportable Basis of Estimates (BOEs), Certified Cost and Pricing Data (CCPD), and Cost/Price Volumes for competitive proposals.
  • Analyze historical cost data, pricing information, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for pricing optimization and revenue enhancement.
  • Build and maintain cost and pricing models to support decision-making and ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance across proposals.
  • Develop and maintain pricing templates to support different contract types and work scopes, including products and services.
  • Support the development of competitive pricing strategies in coordination with Business Development to deliver compliant and financially sound proposals.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Truthful Cost or Pricing Data requirements (formerly TINA), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), DFARS, and company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure proposals meet the definition of an adequate proposal in accordance with FAR and DFARS requirements.
  • Prepare and present pricing analyses and recommendations to internal stakeholders and customers, including cost analyses, pricing strategies, cash flow projections, and negotiation support.
  • Monitor pricing trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes to proactively identify risks and opportunities.
  • Support contract negotiations and pricing discussions with customers, vendors, and partners.
  • Interface with DCAA and DCMA to provide supporting documentation and justification during audits and pricing reviews.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to pricing policies, procedures, and proposal records in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Review contract awards and modifications with Program Teams to ensure alignment with approved pricing and contractual requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field and 2-4 years of cost, pricing, or program controls experience in defense industry
  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data.
  • Understanding of DCAA/DCMA requirements and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to understand and analyze financial data to effectively present financial data to various stakeholders.
  • Experience with multiple contract types (CP, FFP, T&M, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently to meet critical deadlines without oversight.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing ERP systems (e.g., Deltek Costpoint, SAP, Oracle) to extract, analyze, and validate cost data in support of pricing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment for complex problem solving.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using ProPricer
  • Experience with both sole source as well as competitive proposals.
  • Experience in government contract financials and the defense industry.
  • Understanding of DCAA/DCMA requirements and compliance regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated commitment to both precision and accuracy.
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint and financial reporting tools.
  • Demonstrated success with developing substantiated basis of estimates.
