Group Leader - ME Powertrain 

Manufacturing Engineering Department

Outline of Duties:

  • Provide leadership role to group of manufacturing engineers for various tasks from facility equipment installations to process improvements, including model change activities.
  • Plan, schedule and organize all project activities.
  • Interact with other engineering departments, supporting and developing cooperation between departments.
  • Meeting and interacting with outside contractors and equipment manufacturers to develop best solutions to current issues.
  • Ability to accurately propose budgets for projects, work within established budgets, and manage within guidelines.
  • Determine need for training and talent development.
  • Other duties as assigned by Section Management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS Degree within Engineering, or related field, and relevant experience.
  • Above average communication skills, demonstrating the ability to effectively communicate between multiple departments.
  • Attention to detail along with logical thought process for problem solving.
  • Proficient in all MS Office applications.
  • Proficient planning and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership within some capacity via current or previous role.
  • High level of technical expertise and familiarity with industrial machinery.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 2+ years' experience in manufacturing field with proven knowledge of equipment and process.
  • Previous experience within project management field.
  • Working knowledge of Powertrain shop equipment and processes.
