About the Role:
We're looking for an experienced and motivated PM Pharmacy Supervisor to lead our evening operations at our Skilled Nursing Pharmacy in Hayward, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a leadership role in a fast-paced, clinically focused pharmacy environment where your expertise directly impacts patient care. If you're a licensed pharmacist with a passion for long-term care and team leadership, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and supervise all PM shift pharmacy operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance
  • Verify and dispense medications for skilled nursing facility (SNF) residents with a focus on patient safety
  • Mentor, coach, and manage pharmacy technicians and support staff during evening hours
  • Ensure adherence to state and federal pharmacy regulations, including DEA and Board of Pharmacy standards
  • Coordinate with nursing facility staff to resolve medication-related issues and urgent requests
  • Monitor and maintain controlled substance logs, inventory, and cycle fill processes
  • Perform clinical drug utilization reviews (DUR) and intervene on drug interactions or contraindications

Requirements:
  • Active California Pharmacist License (RPh) in good standing - required
  • 2+ years of pharmacy experience, preferably in long-term care or skilled nursing pharmacy
  • Prior supervisory or lead pharmacist experience strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of SNF medication management, OBRA regulations, and consultant pharmacy practices
  • Proficiency with pharmacy dispensing software and electronic medication records
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Ability to work PM/evening shifts, including potential weekends or holidays
