Job Description
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in processing in-house payroll for all of the Company's 6,500 employees. Works closely with Sr. Payroll Manager to manage offshore team with all aspects of weekly and bi-weekly payroll processing. Ensure SOX controls are adhered to during payroll process. Works closely with Payroll staff to ensure all mandatory required payments and filings occur on time to include but not limited to Wage Assignment and Garnishment remittances, Tax filings and payments, Unclaimed property analysis and annual W-2 processing. Assist in reviewing journal entries, monthly accounting and financial analysis including the preparation and review of account reconciliations, reports, budgeting and other related duties as assigned.

Must be a motivated professional who performs with a high degree of accuracy and is attentive to detail. Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills required. Some accounting skills and systems skills (Excel required, Oracle and Dayforce preferred).
Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Accounting/Finance preferred. Five or more years of payroll experience preferred. Supervisory experience required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from top management, managers, subordinates, customer and/or vendors in person or over the telephone.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram or schedule form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
