Job description

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Automotive Payroll Administrator to join our team. This role is responsible for managing and processing payroll for dealership employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely distribution. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a high level of confidentiality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify and audit employee timecards for accuracy, including regular hours, overtime, and paid time off

  • Process weekly payroll in a timely and accurate manner

  • Calculate and process employee bonuses, commissions, and other incentive-based earnings

  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

  • Address payroll-related inquiries from employees and management

  • Coordinate with HR and accounting departments to ensure proper employee data and deductions

  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports as needed

  • Assist with year-end processes, including W-2 preparation

Qualifications:

  • Previous payroll experience, preferably in an automotive dealership or similar environment

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
