Job description
Premier Genesee is seeking a licensed hairdresser to provide salon services to residents in our assisted living and skilled nursing community.
This is an independent contractor position offering exceptional flexibility. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to create their own schedule and provide services directly to residents in our on-site salon.

Work any time between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM
Opportunity to work as few or as many hours as desired, up to 40 hours per week
Established resident population
On-site salon space
Rewarding work serving seniors in a supportive environment
Provide haircuts, styling, shampoos, and other cosmetology services within the scope of your license
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional salon environment
Manage appointment scheduling with residents and/or facility staff
Supply necessary products and equipment required to perform services
Provide excellent customer service while building positive relationships with residents
Current New York State Cosmetology License required
Ability to work independently
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
Experience working with older adults is preferred but not required
