Hospital/Clinic Patient Registration - Full time
Title: Hospital Patient Registration BBGH Hospital and GNMSS Clinic
Reporting Relationship: Patient Registration Manager
We are seeking a Patient Registration Float to support our hospital and clinics. This role involves greeting patients, verifying insurance/demographics, and processing admissions, switching between locations to provide coverage. The ideal candidate is adaptable, accurate, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Registration & Admissions: Greet patients, register them in the system, and process admissions efficiently.
  • Patient Intake: Verify demographics, insurance information, and collect necessary signatures.
  • Adaptability: Float between hospital departments and GNMSS clinics based on staffing needs.
  • Customer Service: Assist patients with questions, explain policies, and ensure a smooth intake experience.
  • Compliance: Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all HIPAA/hospital regulations. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Job Qualifications:

Required: Must be 19 years or older

Preferred: Associate degree or higher in secretarial work.

• Good computer skills, including use of Outlook, Internet Explorer, Word and Excel.
• Ability to remain calm and professional, even in emergency situations.
• Ability to understand medical terminology and standard insurance forms.
Upon hire, you must provide a copy of the Immunization Record and disclose your current influenza immunization.
