We are seeking a friendly and organized Patient Registration Specialist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our clinic, the Patient Registration Specialist will be responsible for ensuring a positive patient experience. You will be required to greet customers, register patients, and collect payments. In addition, the Patient Registration Specialist will be responsible for verifying insurance eligibility and answering incoming calls.

Responsibilities:

  • Professionally greet all customers.
  • Register all patients (may be for both Ohio ENT and Hearing Health Solutions).
  • Update all patient demographics each visit.
  • Schedule, reschedule and confirm patient appointments.
  • Scan documents into EHR, as needed.
  • Collect and post copayments and payments for non-covered items sold.
  • Verify referrals are in place for patients.

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

• Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs)

Work hours: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30pm p.m. Occasional overtime and travel will be required.
