Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a Patient Dining Manager to join their team at San Luis Valley Health in Alamosa, Colorado.

The Patient Dining Manager is responsible for overseeing patient dining and retail food service operations, ensuring a high-quality experience for patients, visitors, and staff. This role provides hands-on operational leadership, supports frontline teams, drives service excellence, and ensures compliance with food safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is a flexible, service-focused manager who can adapt to varying business needs and schedules.

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The Salaried rate for this position is $58,000.00 to $65,000.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities Operations Leadership
  • Oversee daily patient dining and retail food service operations to ensure exceptional customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Lead and support frontline teams across multiple service areas, including patient dining and retail outlets.
  • Partner with the Food Service Director to drive operational excellence and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor service standards, employee performance, and customer satisfaction metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Respond to operational needs with flexibility, including supporting varied shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Serve as a hands‑on leader, stepping in as needed to support daily operations and ensure business objectives are achieved.
Leadership
  • Use Aramark's coaching model to engage, develop, and maximize team member performance.
  • Reward and recognize employees to foster engagement and retention.
  • Ensure individual and team performance meets operational objectives and client expectations.
  • Plan and lead daily team briefings to communicate priorities, goals, and operational updates.
  • Ensure safety and sanitation standards are consistently maintained across all operations.
Client Relationship
  • Identify client needs and communicate operational progress, results, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive service and consistent operational execution.
  • Support patient, visitor, and customer satisfaction initiatives across patient dining and retail operations.
Financial Performance
  • Ensure the completion and maintenance of P&L statements and other financial reporting requirements.
  • Deliver client and company financial targets through effective operational management.
  • Utilize Aramark systems and processes to analyze performance metrics, labor, inventory, and ordering trends.
  • Educate and engage team members on operational strategies that improve efficiencies and drive financial performance.
Productivity
  • Drive value through efficient operations, effective cost controls, and profit management.
  • Follow Operational Excellence fundamentals by meeting and maintaining food, labor, and service initiatives.
  • Ensure all team members are properly trained and able to execute established standards and procedures.
  • Supervise employees to ensure quality, consistency, productivity, and operational control across all service areas.
Compliance
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients, customers, clients, and employees.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Follow all safety, health, wage and hour, and food safety regulations and standards.

Qualifications
  • Requires at least 1 year of experience in food service, hospitality, healthcare support services, retail operations, or a related field.
  • Requires at least 1 year of management or supervisory experience in food service, hospitality, healthcare, or retail operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage day‑to‑day operations in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Flexible availability to support varying shifts, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
  • Strong operational, team leadership, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to maintain effective client and customer relationships.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
