If you would like to be a part of this journey with us...we want to meet you!POSITION SUMMARY:The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment in accordance with community standards. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.?Operate the dish machine to wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.Ensure all dishes are properly cleaned, sanitized, and stored according to health and safety guidelines.Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing station, including dish machine, sinks, floors, walls, and surrounding areas.Remove trash and recycling from kitchen and dining areas as needed and ensure proper disposal.Assist with the cleaning and sanitation of kitchen equipment, prep stations, and storage areas.Follow all community and regulatory standards for cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation.Stock supplies such as paper products and soap in dishwashing and kitchen areas.Work collaboratively with kitchen and dining team members to ensure timely and efficient service.Practice all safety and loss prevention procedures.Attend in-services and staff meetings as required.Other duties as assigned.Educational Requirements and Experience:Prior dishwashing or utility experience in a commercial kitchen preferred.Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and assist team members as needed.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.Ability to work as part of a team in a senior living environment.Willingness to work flexible shifts, including holidays and weekends.ENVIRONMENTAL ADAPTABILITY:Works primarily indoors in a commercial kitchen setting.May be exposed to heat, cold, and cleaning chemicals as identified in the MSDS Manual.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
