Key Responsibilities

  • The Bartender will be responsible for serving patrons at our front bar and fulfilling drink orders for the dining room, monitoring the cash drawer at the bar.
  • Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each client and maintain a safe environment by identifying problem clients and having them removed.
  • Keep the bar area clean in accordance with the company's guidelines as well as the requirements of the local health department.
  • Maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout the night and be able to account for any and all discrepancies in the final drawer tally.
  • Mix all drinks based on the serving sizes as outlined by company policies to keep drink costs at a minimum.
  • Develop an efficient work pace that keeps the customers satisfied at all times.

Requirements

This position plays a major role in a guest's dinner and/or bar experience. Consistency is a key element in a positive experience, which is achieved by always following recipes. A bartender must be friendly, outgoing and possess good communication skills. A bartender should be organized and able to think and act quickly and effectively while retaining self-composure.


Essential Requirements & Skills

  • Work with numbers and handle cash efficiently.
  • Time Management skills.
  • Must be 18 years old at the time of hire.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

This job operates behind the bar and may be working in close proximity to co-workers. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Hazards may include, but are not limited too, cuts, slipping and tripping. With reasonable accommodation, the physical demands include:

  • Walk and stand during entire shift.
  • Continuously reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop and wipe.
  • Remain stationary for long periods of time.
  • Frequently wash hands.
  • Be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Be able to manipulate fingers, hands and arms to cut, measure, pour, serve, carry and wipe.
