Job description

Parts Coordinator

Transdev in Norcross, GA is hiring a Parts Coordinator. The Parts Coordinator performs basic vehicle servicing, cleaning and fueling with limited supervision. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Transdev is proud to offer:

  • Competitive compensation package of minimum $24.03 – Maximum $26.44

Benefits include:

  • Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks
  • Sick days: 5 days
  • Holidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the ordering, receiving, and stocking of diesel parts and supplies
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and perform regular cycle counts
  • Work closely with maintenance technicians to ensure timely parts availability
  • Source parts from vendors and negotiate pricing when necessary
  • Track and monitor backorders and expedite urgent parts requests
  • Maintain records of purchases, warranties, and vendor information
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of parts in the warehouse
  • Process invoices and ensure accuracy of billing and documentation
  • Assist with budgeting and cost control for parts and supplies
  • Follow all safety and compliance standards related to parts handling and storage

Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 to 3 years of parts room experience
  • Computer literate with strong attention to detail.
  • Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
  • The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
  • Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
