Pay Range: $20-$22 hourly

About the team and position

As Parts Specialists, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service by assisting with parts identification, order fulfillment, and product recommendations. You will play a key role in ensuring customers receive the right parts, along with expert advice and outstanding service. You'll also help manage our inventory of parts and provide accurate, quality service to our internal shop team.

What you'll be doing

  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Accurately identify and recommend automotive parts based on customer & technician needs.
  • Source and order complex automotive parts for both customers and our internal shop team
  • Process sales transactions, including parts orders and returns
  • Maintain a clean, organized parts counter and stock room
  • Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
  • Collaborate with the internal shop team and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts
  • Provide technical support and advice to customers regarding parts compatibility and installation
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any concerns promptly and professionally

What you should have

  • Minimum of 6 months of professional automotive parts experience 
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Knowledge of automotive parts, tools, and systems
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining compliance with safety and OEM standards.

Other requirements

To be able to do your job at Carvana, there are some basic requirements we want to share with you.

  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • A clean driving record with no more than two moving violations or DUI's in the last three years
  • The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions
  • Will be required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials
  • May be requested to work overtime and weekends for special programs and events.
  • Frequent standing and sitting with varying periods of each
  • May at times require working different shifts
  • Lift up to 60 pounds frequently
  • Walk up to three miles each day
