Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Mechanic Helper to join our team. You will assist our mechanics in inspecting, maintaining, and repairing vehicles and equipment. This is an ideal role for an ambitious individual looking to develop hands-on skills, learn trade, and grow into a fully licensed technician
Key Responsibilities
  • Routine Maintenance: Perform basic services under the supervision, including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid top-offs.
  • Assist with Repairs: Help mechanics disassemble and reassemble vehicle components, and hand tools and parts to the mechanic during active repair
  • Diagnostics Assistance: Aid in conducting vehicle inspections and basic troubleshooting to help identify mechanical issues.
  • Shop Upkeep: Clean and organize the workspace, dispose of used fluids properly, and ensure that all tools and equipment are kept clean and safe.
  • Inventory & Parts: Help track and log inventory, receive deliveries, and transport parts or materials to the workstations.
  • Quality Assurance: Assist with road testing vehicles and verifying that repairs meet safety standards.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED certificate.
  • Experience: Some experience with hand tools, power tools, or basic Heavy duty diesel repair is a plus.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform physical, hands-on tasks in various weather and shop conditions.
  • Licensing: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required. Chauffeur license preferred
