SALARY
This position has a base salary range of $60,000 - 90,000 USD Annual. This range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience and time in the role.
SUMMARY
This role is a driven and outgoing business development professional. This individual will independently manage projects related to member acquisition and building strong corporate partnerships within key corporations. To reach Engaged New Member targets for assigned companies, the individual will support and participate in live
in-person, and virtual business development and financial well-being events and strategic marketing efforts to increase participation within these core audiences. The role will also manage cross-functional internal relationships related to marketing efforts, product owners, branch partners, and operations.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Drive new member acquisition and business development at assigned companies.
2. Plan and execute virtual and onsite promotional and financial well-being events (benefit fairs, seminars/webinars, rollouts or Grand Openings, membership drives, etc.) and represent the credit union professionally.
3. Track and optimize use of individual BD budget.
4. Maintain up-to-date industry and BCU product knowledge.
5. Collaborate with Marketing team to develop compelling new member campaigns and contests.
6. Maintain accurate monthly tracking and metrics for department (i.e., event tracking, profitability, ROI, cost to acquire, etc.).
7. Present content as polished public speaker.
8. Manage logistics for financial well-being efforts, targeted campaigns, and other programs.
9. Brainstorm and plan creative promotional concepts and campaigns that support relevant growth goals.
10. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
โ€ข Travel is required - up to 50% local or 25% out of state. Flexibility is necessary with multiple work locations, varying work hours, and some evening or weekend activities.
โ€ข Bachelor's degree required, with major in Marketing, Sales, or Business preferred.
โ€ข 2-3 years successful account management, event planning or marketing campaign experience required.
โ€ข Excellent professional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
โ€ข Strong level of comfort with all Microsoft Office required, with emphasis on Excel and PPT.
โ€ข Positive attitude and demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team.
โ€ข Experience managing projects a plus.
โ€ข Experience in financial services and/or creating marketing campaigns a plus.
โ€ข Experience with SalesForce is a plus.
