Customer Service Workforce Manager & Strategy Consultant (Contract)Role Overview
  • Position Type: Part-Time (Approx. 15 hours/week)

  • Location: Hybrid (Preference for Metro Detroit local candidates; open to Remote with required travel to Detroit, including the first week of the assignment)

  • Our client is seeking a high-caliber, strategic Senior Workforce Manager & WFM Strategy Consultant to optimize their workforce capacity planning and management efforts. In this pivotal consulting role, you will be responsible for ensuring elite workforce operations locally and across global BPO partners in Egypt and the Philippines.

This position is instrumental in expanding the footprint of domestic operations across corporate business partners. The ideal consultant possesses deep expertise in global workforce management, mastery of the NICE IEX platform, and a proven track record of steering large-scale operations of nearly 1,000 representatives and a $40 million budget.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning & Forecasting
  • WFM Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive workforce strategies to meet long-term business objectives and service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Advanced Forecasting: Utilize advanced analytical techniques to predict future workforce needs, ensuring tight alignment with business growth and seasonal variations.

  • Budget Support: Construct, analyze, and support a workforce budget of nearly $40M, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.

Operational Oversight
  • Scheduling & Real-Time Management: Oversee efficient scheduling matrixes and lead real-time analysts to dynamically adjust workforce performance, maintaining peak operational efficiency.

  • Performance & Analytics: Utilize NICE IEX and Power BI to track performance, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and direct the reporting team to deliver actionable data to senior leadership.

Global Vendor & Stakeholder Engagement
  • BPO Vendor Management: Partner with offshore BPO operations in Egypt and the Philippines, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with contractual penalties and incentives.

  • Executive Collaboration: Act as a trusted advisor to Executives and Operational leaders to address workforce challenges and drive cross-functional strategic goals.

Qualifications & ExperienceRequired Criteria:
  • Experience: Minimum of 10+ years in workforce management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or consulting role.

  • Scale: Proven experience managing large-scale operations (approx. 1,000 agents) and massive budget parameters ($40M).

  • Global Footprint: Extensive, deep experience with international offshoring and BPO vendor governance.

  • Technical Mastery: Highly proficient with NICE IEX and Power BI.

  • Methodology: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification is required.

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.

Preferred Attributes:
  • Advanced Education: MBA or Masters degree preferred.

  • Advanced Methodology: Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification highly preferred.
