Looking for an Operations & Training Lead position with growth opportunities in the beauty / cosmetology industry?ย  Drybar Shops is looking for a sales manager / operations manager to oversee salon and csutomer operations. Drybar is a fun, fast-paced, and most important, team focused environment. The Drybar Shop Operations & Training Lead position is a critical role. The Lead upholds Drybar standards, leads the client experience and helps streamline shop operations. In addition, the Lead Role will help build local business partnerships, oversee shop collaborations, help set sales goals for the team, coordinate membership sales and retention including handling escalations, coordinate group events, and execute the shop's social media calendar.ย  Ideally, if the candidate has a background in Cosmetology (highly preferred, but not required), they would also be in charge of new stylist training when we are onboarding a new class of stylists and also taking on a stylist schedule as needed. This role is an incredible opportunity to begin refining your leadership capabilities with a growing brand!ย  It's the chance to take your career to new heights!

Manager Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience and proven track record in sales and exceptional customer service including but not limited to experience as a sales manager, operations manager, and/or general salon manager.
  • Cosmetology license / hair stylist experience a plus
  • Minimum of One (1) Years of Experience in a fast paced retail, restaurant, beauty, or hospitality setting preferred.
  • Supprt the implementation of structure, policies, and procedures.
  • Committment to Customer Service Excellence
  • Ability to identify and problem solve, set expectations, goals
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills to communicate with confidence
  • Must be an excellent organizer and problem solver with strong project management skills
  • Must be able to work flexible days and hours; including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Competent motivator and ability to upskill team in the arease of sales and customer sevice as needed
