About this Opportunity The Part Time Program Assistant - Athletic duties include keeping official scorebooks, operating game clocks and scoreboards, monitoring various athletic games and events for youth and adult sports programs such as baseball, softball, football, basketball, soccer, volleyball, etc.

This position assists with event preparation, set-up and breakdown, available as needed to work concession stands, tournaments and events, chaperone and oversee teams that play out of town during the summer and performs other duties as required. This position is part-time; a majority of the work is in the evening and on weekends so the successful candidate must be able to work odd hours during the week, at night, and weekends. Education and Experience High school diploma or GED; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.

Experience in recreation and/or athletics is highly desirable. Physical Requirements Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally; and/or up to 5 pounds of force frequently; and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
