As the firm continues to grow, we're seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper & Payroll Support Specialist who enjoys variety, values accuracy, and wants to work directly alongside an experienced CPA supporting clients across multiple industries.

Position Summary

The Bookkeeper & Payroll Support Specialist will manage day-to-day bookkeeping and payroll functions for a portfolio of small business clients. This individual will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing payroll, preparing financial reports, and delivering exceptional client service. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with multiple clients, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is looking to grow with a successful CPA practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage bookkeeping for multiple small business clients

  • Process payroll accurately and on schedule

  • Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements

  • Record journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts

  • Assist with month-end close activities

  • Prepare and review financial reports

  • Support Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions

  • Maintain organized client files and financial documentation

  • Assist with payroll tax filings and related reporting
