The Uintah County Library is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented individual to join our team in creating a welcoming, well-organized environment for our community. In this role, you will independently manage the daily workflow of returned library assets by accurately checking in, sorting, and re-shelving books and media according to established classification standards, while also assisting with the physical processing of new materials for circulation. Beyond maintaining collection integrity through regular shelf reviews, you will serve as a friendly point of contact for patrons by guiding them to specific collections, directing them to appropriate staff resources, and performing light tidying to ensure the facility remains clean and safe. Operating with minimal direct supervision, the ideal candidate will remain alert to building safety needs, proactively report facility issues to management, and have the opportunity to share creative ideas to improve operational efficiency.


This is an entry-level position with no formal educational degree or prior work history required.


This part-time position offers an hourly wage of $15.00 along with some fantastic perks!
