Part-Time IT Support Specialist
Location: Portland, OR
Schedule: Wednesday and Thursday, onsite
Pay: $30-$35/hr W2
Assignment: Contract, early August through end of August with potential extension through September 4
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Part-Time IT Support Specialist for a short-term onsite contract role with a creative brand consultancy in Portland, OR.
This role will provide hands-on IT support for approximately 45 employees in a casual, collaborative, creative office environment. The ideal candidate will have strong Mac support experience, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to troubleshoot common day-to-day technical issues independently.
Responsibilities:
• Provide onsite support for end users in a primarily Mac-based environment
• Troubleshoot laptops, workstations, email, software, printers, Wi-Fi, and general office technology
• Support conference room technology, projectors, TVs, Zoom meetings, and presentations
• Assist with Outlook, Slack, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Adobe Creative Cloud applications
• Help with device setup, maintenance, and miscellaneous technical requests
• Support employees directly in an informal, low-process environment
• Escalate issues when needed to internal technical contacts
Qualifications:
• 2-3+ years of IT support, desktop support, helpdesk, or technical support experience preferred
• Strong Mac support experience required
• Experience troubleshooting laptops, printers, software, internet connectivity, and office technology
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, helpful communication style
• Ability to work independently and respond quickly to employee requests
• Comfortable supporting non-technical users
• Must be available onsite in Portland every Wednesday and Thursday
• Comfortable with a background check and drug screen process for vetting purposes
Preferred:
• Familiarity with JAMF or Apple device management
• Experience supporting creative, agency, startup, or small office environments
• Experience with Outlook, Slack, Zoom, Teams, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, printers, AV, and conference room equipment
Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
