These roles can include tasks such as technical support, network maintenance, software troubleshooting, or assisting with IT projects. Part time IT positions are often ideal for students, individuals seeking work-life balance, or those looking to gain experience in the technology sector. To address these, it's important to prioritize tasks, maintain open communication with colleagues, and leverage project management tools for efficient collaboration. Job description

We're Hiring: Part Time IT Coordinator | Euclid Heat Treating

???? Euclid, OH | Part-Time (20-25 hours/week) | $22-25/hour

At Euclid Heat Treating, we're a family-owned heat treating facility — and we take pride in doing things right. Our customers trust us with their parts, and we take that seriously. We're looking for an IT Coordinator who helps keep the technical aspects of the business – computers, phones, security cameras, software – up and running so everyone can do their jobs more efficiently.

EHT is seeking an experienced and dependable IT Coordinator to support and manage the day-to-day technology needs of our business. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, solving problems, helping others, and ensuring our technology operates smoothly and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of experience in a help desk, IT support, or similar technology-focused role. You should be comfortable working independently, communicating with employees at all levels, and partnering with an outsourced IT provider when more advanced technical support is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day technical support to employees and assist with hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Support and troubleshoot Windows 11 computers, laptops, peripherals, and related equipment.
  • Assist with Microsoft 365, including user support, applications, email, and basic account-related issues.
  • Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain printers and other office equipment.
  • Provide basic troubleshooting and support for network connectivity, Wi-Fi, and related infrastructure.
  • Support and troubleshoot VoIP phone systems.
  • Assist with the operation and basic troubleshooting of security camera systems.
  • Help coordinate the setup, replacement, and maintenance of computers and other technology equipment.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees experiencing technology issues.
  • Work closely with our outsourced IT provider, coordinating support requests and assisting with troubleshooting and implementation of technology solutions.
  • Communicate technical information clearly and professionally to employees who may have varying levels of technical knowledge.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service while responding to technology-related questions and problems.
  • Help identify recurring technology issues and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reliability.
  • Maintain organization, documentation, and accountability for company technology equipment and resources.
  • Stay current with technology, security practices, and software updates relevant to the business.

What We're Looking For

  • 2–5 years of experience in IT support, help desk, desktop support, or a similar role is ideal.
  • Working knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365.
  • Basic understanding of computer networking and connectivity.
  • Experience troubleshooting printers, phones, computers, and other workplace technology.
  • Familiarity with VoIP phone systems and security camera systems is preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple requests and manage competing priorities.
  • Comfortable working independently while also being a collaborative member of the team.
  • Ability to work effectively with an outsourced IT provider and other technology vendors.
  • A positive, professional attitude and a willingness to jump in and help wherever needed.
