Job description

What We're Looking For:
Barge Design Solutions is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Communications Administrator to support key operational functions within the Communications team. This part-time role (20-29 hours per week) is responsible for managing and maintaining core programs and systems that support the firm's brand, employee experience, and day-to-day communications needs.
This role is best suited for someone who thrives on organization, follow-through, and consistency, bringing structure and reliability to processes that require ongoing attention and care. While not a strategic communications role, this position plays a critical part in ensuring foundational elements of the communications function run smoothly and effectively.
Responsibilities:
Headshot Program Management
  • Own and manage the firm's headshot process from end to end, including coordination, communication with employees, scheduling, quality control, and file organization

Company Store Management
  • Oversee the company store, including product selection, inventory coordination, order management, issue resolution, and overall experience

Digital Asset Management (OpenAsset)
  • Lead ongoing organization, cleanup, and maintenance of the firm's digital asset library to ensure assets are accurate, accessible, and well-structured

Administrative & Operational Support
  • Provide support across communications initiatives, including coordination, tracking, and execution of recurring or detail-heavy tasks

Process Ownership & Improvement
  • Bring structure and consistency to workflows, identifying opportunities to improve organization, efficiency, and user experience

Education & Experience Qualifications:
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2-4 years of experience in an administrative, coordinator, or operations-focused role
  • Experience supporting programs, systems, or processes with high attention to detail preferred
