Start Date: Fall semester 2026

Position Overview: The HR function is seeking a part-time Communications Intern to support both content strategy and editorial planning to ensure team members are informed in a timely fashion on the company's strategy, direction, business results, and culture. In this role, based out of our Corporate Headquarters in Milwaukee, you'll work with a range of experienced Human Resources and communication professionals to contribute to business initiatives.

The ideal candidate is someone who's passionate about storytelling and eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced company by supporting communication plans that deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities:
Identify, research, write, review, and publish informative and engaging content for global team member communications via the company intranet (myRegalRexnord).
Ensure consistent messaging is incorporated across internal communication platforms, including message alignment, cadence, and linkage to top priorities, for overall effectiveness.
Collaborate with subject matter experts within the Human Resources function to create and deploy a monthly newsletter with updates on current programs or upcoming initiatives.
Contribute to the yearly content calendar with regular updates and oversight, while also helping to manage the weekly publication cadence to avoid competing messages.
Provide advice and guidance specifically related to effective communications regarding strategic initiatives, change management, and team member engagement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Current junior or senior who is enrolled in a four-year university and pursuing an undergraduate degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
Anticipated graduation date of Spring/Winter 2027 or Spring 2028.
Must be available to work 20-25 hours per week during standard business hours, with a combination of in-office and remote work.
Strong writing, proofreading, and grammar, with an emphasis on attention to detail.
Demonstrated time management experience when balancing multiple projects or objectives.
Familiarity with communication tools such as Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Forms).
Curious and proactive with a willingness to adapt to competing priorities or time-sensitive requests.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft Copilot or other AI tools for data analysis.
Familiarity with SharePoint or similar content management platforms.
Knowledge of standard talent and performance management processes a plus.

Work Modality: Hybrid - Must be available to work 20-25 hours per week during standard business hours, with a combination of in-office and remote work of a minimum of two days per week in office and allows up to one - two remote days.

Expected Base Salary Range: [Enter $20 - $22 per hour]
The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for this position. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, the geographic market of that location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education and internal peer compensation comparisons among other potential factors.
