Dog Daycare & Boarding Attendant (Part-Time)
Camp Bow Wow - West Seneca, NY

Pay: Starting at $16.00 per hour (Part-Time, Non-Exempt)
Schedule: Weekdays, Weekends & Holidays Required | Shifts between 6:15 AM - 7:15 PM

Important: Physical & Job Demands
This is a hands-on, physically demanding position. To be successful, you must be able to:
  • Stand, walk, bend, and move continuously throughout your shift
  • Safely handle and control dogs of all sizes, including large (100+ lb), strong, or reactive dogs
  • Prevent and break up dog altercations quickly and safely when necessary
  • Lift, push, or pull up to 50+ lbs (food, equipment, cleaning supplies, and shoveling)
  • Work in environments with noise, odors, and constant activity

This role is not a good fit for individuals unable to meet these physical requirements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and actively monitor up to 25 dogs in group play (indoor & outdoor yards)
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and controlled environment at all times
  • Recognize and respond to dog behavior, including preventing and intervening in conflicts
  • Clean and sanitize play areas, cabins, lobby, and common spaces
  • Accurately document and communicate any behavioral or health concerns
  • Provide friendly, professional customer service to pet parents

Qualifications
  • 18+ preferred (due to physical and safety demands)
  • Previous experience with dogs (daycare, kennel, vet, grooming, or personal handling) strongly preferred
  • Comfortable working with multiple dogs at once in group settings
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Dependable with consistent attendance (especially weekends & holidays)
  • Authorized to work in the United States
