Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Camp Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals and possess the skills necessary to provide exceptional care for dogs in our facility. This role involves maintaining a clean and safe environment for the animals, assisting with their daily needs, and ensuring their overall well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Active supervision of the health and behavior of groups of dogs; they're here to be active and have fun with you and each other!
  • Assist with and complete basic grooming services as needed
  • Responsible for the feeding and general care of a large volume of dogs.
  • A positive and energetic attitude is a must!
  • Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas, ensuring a hygienic environment for all pets.
  • Must be able to work at a quick and efficient pace.
Requirements:
  • Able to comfortably lift up to 50lbs if needed.
  • Able to comfortably stand/walk for an entire shift.
  • Must be comfortable monitoring up to 25 dogs at a time.
  • Previous experience in animal handling or care is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
  • Familiarity with dog training techniques is a plus.
  • Knowledge of basic pet grooming practices is beneficial.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
