POSITION SUMMARY: The PACS Administrator is a service-line role that serves as the primary representative of clinical imaging stakeholders by overseeing the administration and management of enterprise imaging systems, including PACS, RIS, the VNA, and integrated applications such as dictation, document scanning, and image sharing. Serving as the lead superuser, the role provides training, troubleshooting, and support for projects and change management within clinical imaging. In this capacity, the role enables daily workflows, ensures service quality, and provides operational oversight. Positioned between frontline clinical teams and supporting departments, the role champions collaboration with physicians, clinicians, hospital service lines, physician groups, and vendor partners to enable smooth operations, guide projects, and enhance the user experience across the imaging environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or Information Systems
  • 5 years of Imaging - Radiography experience OR
  • 5 years of Information Services - PACS/RIS experience
  • Certified PACS Associate (CPAS) from the PACS Administrator Registry & Certification Association within 18 months of employment
